Program expectations are intended to empower each resident to begin to access internal motivation and to accomplish personal goals that can lead to long-term recovery. There are numerous options in sober living programs and the decision making process may feel overwhelming. Many programs utilize similar treatment plans and length of stay requirements for all residents.
Meet Our Team
However, what sets The New Life House apart is our unique ability to customize services, mutual-help meetings, structure and length of stay to the needs of the individual. This allows residents to feel ownership over their care and to integrate more effectively back into their lives and the community. The New Life House staff members meet regularly with residents to gain an understanding of what their needs may be in terms of life skills, their recovery program (i.e., self-help meeting attendance, current sponsor, etc.), outside clinical services and in creating a balanced behavioral schedule. We’ve made this determination because our research indicates that one or more units at this property have rent significanlty less than average market-rate rents for similar sized units in the area. Our service provides high quality support to people with varying levels of need.

The New Life House team recognizes that the addiction treatment process can be stressful for both potential residents and families. Therefore, we are committed to providing personal support from your initial inquiry leading to the actual admission day. An initial phone screening will be conducted in order to see that the resident is an appropriate candidate for the programs offered. If the resident is coming from another treatment program, clinical reports will be requested following a voluntary signed release from the resident. Site visits can be arranged for both the potential resident and families. Residents are supported to plan their weekly meals and set the menus.
Many people are eligible for financial help towards the cost of support, and this funding can be accessed by contacting your local authority. Once funding has been agreed, we will work with your local care team to put together a bespoke package of care.
